I lowered mine this year and it seems to be working perfectly but I hear a lot of people do not and it works fine for them as well.

Right now I have my hot spot at 90 degrees during the day and 84 at night. My cool side is at 80 during the day and 74 at night. I have another thread going where I'm asking if my temps are right but no one has responded but I believe they are right or at least close.

so do you keep these temps 90f hot day and night and cold 73f-75f all day and night

I run an oil heater in my snake room to keep ambient temps at 70, and keep my hot spot at 90. That's what I did last year and had success, this year I've got girls that are close to ovulation, if I didn't miss it again
You only keep ambient at 70? I've got my room at 78-80. Am I too warm?

mines 80 in the summer, 70 in the winter. just because thats what my temps in the house are, but it works out good for breeding season also
I dropped my temps this year, I did not last year. All my ball pythons had locks, regardless of dropping or not.
