    So if i were to transfer my BSTP from a glass enclosure to a tub, what would you all recommend as far as size, heating, substrate etc....

    He is a little guy, bout 1 foot long, i just picked him up from vpi last friday.

    I have my new hatchlings in a 15qt tub in my rack, so it's belly heat. As far as substrate, I'm using Reptibark as it holds humidity better than aspen or newspaper. I used a hide in the back over the heat and in the front, I laid out some moss. I did this over the back corners as well. They are both loving life. They bury themselves in the reptibark under the moss and seem very secure and happy. I set them up on Sunday and they both eagerly ate for me on Tuesday.

    Ok thanks i will sure give it a try. Trying to maintain proper humidity in a glass tank is a pain in the backside for these guys.

    I use a super basic setup:

    Paper towel "substrate"

    2 hides

    1 water dish

    I don't give much "exploring room".
