Soaking help

After soaking how do I get some of the skin of his head? As we all know ball pythons especially really do not enjoy their face or neck being touched... So how should I go about this later?

Someone?

Hi, What I have done when a shed has gone bad was let them soak for a bit and then let them repeatedly crawl thru a wet wash cloth with you putting a little pressure on it to peel back the skin.

Hi, I have a couple of trouble shedders so when I notice they are in shed I place in a sterilite with peetmoss wetted down with warm water place the snake in put the lid with a hole cut out big enough for the snake to get inn and out of put it half on half off the heat source check the next day and usually all the shedding is off.

Ok well I couldnt get all of it off, but I got a pretty good ammount prob 70%, think he can get the rest of on his own? or should I soak him again tomorrow?

I would try again tomorrow, and also try wetting down/ringing out a pillow case and put he/she in it and let it crawl around through your hands (with a little pressure) while in the damp and warm pillow case. Seems to really work great for me, especially with leftovers on the ol' noggin. :) Good Luck!

Sometimes, if the shed is really stuck on there, you may have to wait for their next shed to completely remove all of that last shed.

I have a few problem shedders. I let them soak in warm water in a sterilite container, with the top on for about a half hour to forty minutes. Only a couple inches of water , you don't want to drown them. Then I take a damp towel and I keep a little pressure on the snake and I let them work through the towel. It depends on the size of the animal. I have tried wash clothes and hand towels, but a bath towel seems to work for me.
