Treating young male BP fo an RI
:(:confused:Morning all,,I have a young male BP,that i am currently treating via injection every other day anti biotics,I started his injections 10 days ago and the meds will be administered for a month He hasn't fed since Thanksgiving and the doc says he hasn't lost enough weight to be concerned, that the RI is the most likely reason he isn't feeding, due to the inflammation in his mouth. He still wont feed on anything yet but something is starting to happen that hasn't happened since late November. He has gone into shed.anybody our there that has had RI experience, tell me.Is this a sign that the meds are working? and that my little guy is on his way back to normal or is this just a BP being a BP.Any opinion or past experience with this would be great...Thanks All

just continue with the meds. be sure to change water and clean water bowl daily. shedding is just a shed. ur BP prolly isnt eating because it is sick, and the stress of the injections may be adding to that. one month of not eating isnt bad. just dont miss any injections
