pest control question from new BP owner
Hi!
We recently got our first BP and, without thinking about it, I have the pest control people coming to the house soon. My plan was to just take my BP in a travel box to work with me until it would be okay to return him to the house. But I think he has begun the shedding process. Do you think it would stress him too much to be handled and moved during this time? He is just at the point of looking quite dull and his eyes are beginning to look cloudy. Thanks for your help!

Yes, get him out of there! I strongly recommend keeping him at your work area or at a friends house for at least a month after the pest control people spray your place down. Those fumes would kill a snake pretty darned fast!

I work pest control and my question is what treatement are they doing?
most just spray the baseboards and we have had no issues with birds or reptiles. Think about it, the LD 50 is to kill insects. now look at the size of your animals and the amount needed to do harm on them. If you are worried about it just dont have them spray that room. As far as the inside goes I think you would be ok just having them spray the outside and the doors and bathrooms inside.
