    is it wierd that a week ago i fed my ball python a 72 gramed rat and up to today (3/1/11) he has pooped only a little. about the size of a nickel. he has been on his heatpad 24/7. I want to feed him but idk if its safe

    Just feed as normal. Mine go 2 or 3 weeks sometimes between pooping...

    Just feed your BP, BP do not defecate on schedule and the amount is not proportional to the food intake either.

    They can go weeks without defecating a lot as to do with food intake and the animal's growth (a growing BP utilize mot of the prey for it's growth)

    So nothing abnormal just feed your animal.

    As long as there is no obvious blockage which usually translate as a bulge near the vent area you are good :gj:
