    Feeder Rat Question....
Recently when I purchased two feeder rats at a show - the girl told me she wasn't sure what sex the two rats I was buying were. At first I thought it really didn't matter to me since they were just going to be fed off. But, as usual, my picky eaters have refused the past two weeks and I've been keeping these two rats in the same 10 gallon tank until the next feeding day.

My question is: if i have a boy and a girl - what if they breed - would they become a bigger hazard/threat to my snake if I inadvertantly offer up a pregnant female?? Would she be more agressive??

Your snake is equipped to kill rats. I don't think that it will be any more dangerous to the snake than normal. Snakes eat pregnant rats all the time in the wild.

They are about 4 inches long minus the tail. I don't know how old they are - they were sold as small rats though
