    New lesser feeding questions
just picked up a new male lesser approx 3 months old. I was trying to find one that was already feeding on f/t but i wasnt fortunate enough for that. He was last fed 8 days ago. I heard that it is best to feed him what he has been eating till hes comfortable in his new place, but i also heard it is best to switch them when they are really hungry. So after 8 days id figure he would be very hungry and it might be my best chance to switch him over this early. Being that this would be my first time feeding him should i try to f/t right away or feed live for a couple weeks and then do f/t?

How long have you had him? If it is less than a week I would not even try to feed him at all. Bp's need time to adjust to their new surroundings. I usually feed live for my first few feeding until I am sure that it is nicely settled in, unless it was already eating f/t. After a few feeding I wait a few days longer than normal to feed it, then feed the f/t... It has always worked for me....

I've only had him 3 days. What you suggested sounds good so i'll try that. Although i know there are no guaruntees, I just really want to make sure he switches over bc i hated feeding live with a picky eater as i did before, plus i cant get live anywhere too close to me now, so fingers crossed. thanks for the feeback!

Not a problem. I have been very lucky in getting mine to switch. I only have one that won't eat f/t, but she was 700 grams when I got her. She just refuses... What do you do????
