Sounds like it regurgitated its meal. How many days had it been since it had been feed? Have your friend check all the temp's to make sure they are correct. Also tell your friend not to try to feed again for 14 days. It takes a long time for a snake to recover from this... Also try not to handle the snake it needs to be as stress free as possible..

Is that the ambient temp or the hot spot temp? I don't raise boa's, but that seems awful high if it is the ambient temp. Did she handle the snake allot after feeding, or was there anything that could have caused the snake to stress out? Just keep an eye on it. Give it two weeks to recover then try to feed it again... Keep an eye on it though and if it seems to be acting strange take it to the vet....

Just keep a close eye on it, and wait the 14 days like I stated before. As long as it is acting ok I wouldn't get super worried yet. If it starts acting strange or it happens again when it is fed I would take it strait to the vet....

Not a problem, but balls can have the same thing happen to them. Usually it is the husbandry, but is sounds like your friend has the everything right...

How old is her boa? It sounds like she is feeding it too often.
