    Rat Crawlers
I'm confused about this :rolleye2:. The breeder we got one of our babies from said he is eating large mice and rat crawlers. Is there another name for a rat crawler such as small rat, pup etc. I went to the pet store and looked at the mice, rat menu but saw nothing that said rat crawler. I ask the girl behind the counter she didn't know either. Help me :tears:

crawler is just another term used for a certain part of early rodent development.

Just look at feeder sizes and compare them to the girth of your snake and choose appropriately. In general, somewhere around the feeder girth being the same as the girth of your BP (at its widest) is the way to go.

A rat crawler is a rat that has fur but hasn't opened it's eyes up yet thus crawls around blindly. Its the last stage right before they open their eyes up and begin feeding on real food.
