    A much needed day..
I haven't spent a day fishin' in forever, so I went with my grandpa today.. I forgot my camera, but was able to get a few pics with my phone. It was quite the eventful day, even if I didn't catch anything.. I was almost fed to a gator, saw a mocassin but couldn't get a picture quick enough, got stung by a bee, and got a sunburn, lol..

Random tree on the river bank..

Boredom, waiting on the boat to get taken off the trailer, lol..

I promise there's a gator there, it just wasn't easily seen in the pic :(

Again, hard to see, but there's turtles on the logs in this one..

    Adorable house..

It was definitley a gorgeous day :)

    Picture perfect!

The fish weren't biting, but the bees were stinging :tears:

The aftermath: First sunburn of the year..

    Saving the best for last.......

Ya, the sting and burn were definitley worse than not catching anything. Oh well, better luck next time, I hope. I'm not complaining about 80 degree temps and spending hours on the water :)

You have no idea, and I'm serious.

My favorite fishing rod is a gander mountain brand, and it has "LADY ANGLER" plastered on it, with pink wrapping on the line guides. I've caught more and bigger fish on it than any other rod I own. I may get some odd looks using it, but GM really does make a superior product for the same $, just marketing it to the ladies.

Lol, well I didn't have the same luck with mine! It was only like the 2nd time I've used that one. My grandpa got it for me :D I figured if I have a pink gun, I needed a pink pole to match ;)

I actually went down to Palatka yesterday.. We were near Crescent Lake, but spent most of the day on the St. Johns and the creeks around there. When I do fish here, it's usually put in on Trout River and go down around Blount Island.. I actually live near Trout River, if you know the northside at all.. I'm across the street from it.

Aww.. I love fishing! It was always the best bonding time between my grandfather "Bear" and I before he passed away! He took me out to catch fish since I could barely walk! Of course I'm still not going to 'clean' them, nope, nope! If I plan on eating it, someone else can do that!!! :D

    Sorry you got stung/burned! Yeaouch!

Haha, it's definitley not mine! But I don't mind being the lucky one to spend the day on it :D

I've never been kayaking.. They kinda freak me out.. People look so trapped in them.. It makes me nervous, lol.

Ha, that was all that line got! Bait and wet because the fish weren't even biting at all! And we always have pretty good luck where we were.. A few other people out said they weren't having any luck either though.
