Cleo will not eat f/t MICE
Cleo finally ate F/T ASF's about 3-4 weeks ago.
I was overjoyed--he had been refusing FT mice for weeks.
Thinking now he was used to them already dead, I tried an FT mouse again.
And....he is acting scared of it again. >:/ The same way he did before.
I tried all the things I did with the ASF--waiting a week or more to get him hungry enough so he might eat it, closing the lid of the tub, putting it in his tank and leaving him alone, setting it right by his nose, etc.
He will NOT eat the dang things.
    :/
He acts afraid of them--will try to hide in the corner, move REALLY fast away from them if I dangle them near his head, jerk his body away if it touches him...Same way he always does with FT mice. He'll eat live ok but I didn't want to start that again. :(
Where can I buy ASFs again? The breeder I got them from only has mice now, no more ASFs. :(
Does it seem like Cleo has imprinted on them? He never liked ft mice to begin with though. :( FT rats at Petco--the only place that has them right now--are expensive. :(
    Uggggh.
    Thanks for the help.

(Nergal, Cheesecake, and Madison are eating very well, however.)

Another note--Cleo has definitely been losing weight, hasn't shed in about 2 months, and isn't growing longer. :( I'm worried about him.
