Are Age and Not Eating Related?
I have a bp that is off feed right now and this is consistent with previous years. He is around 3 years old.

My question is will a bp who goes off feeding at younger ages continue to go off feeding for it's entire life or do they "grow" out of this behavior?

    Thanks

From what i heard from other bp handlers is that this is basically this is the life of a ball python and they just have tendencies to go off feed. I have also heard that they go off almost always during the breeding season now im not saying they all do but that is just what i heard. (especially if you have females and males close by). Its weird because i have a one that ate like a champ all the way from baby to 700g like a monster and now he is back off feed for almost 2 months just the life of a bp hope this helped a little. Nothing to worry though?

X2 expect it yearly. If anything they grow into it. The off feed happenings dont start until about the first year. And then they won't ever grow out if it.
