    Helix Hookup Question
Right now I currently have my Helix DBS-1000 hooked up to my RBI CB-70 rack , it has 3 prongs on it therefore I can only hook up 1 rack. I got a 2nd rack at christmas time that I would like to hook up. Should I buy another thermostat or is there some way I can get it on my one Helix.

Could I plug an surge protector into the helix and then plug the helix into the wall ??????
If I do that, is it going to cause any fire hazard etc.....Im not looking to burn down my apartment lol

    Thanks BP.net Fam

Yes, plug a power strip into your Helix and then plug your racks into the power strip. Just remember the DBS-1000 has a 500 watt capacity.

But remember, there is only 1 temp probe, therefor all the racks you plug into the Thermostat must have EXACTLY the same heat tape setup. So if you are using CB-70's you can only have CB-70's with either the 3" or the 4". You NEED to know if you have 3" or 4" flexwatt in your CB-70 and only plug CB-70's with the same size flexwatt into the same Helix.
(RBI CB-70's used to come with 3" flexwatt but on JAN 1st 2011 Rich changed them to 4" and the new 4" CB-70's CANNOT be plugged into the same Thermostat as the 3" model)
