A rat pup might be a little to big for that size bp. Rat pups run between 20-30 grams which seems a little high to me. I would be looking at fuzzy size rats which run between 10-20 grams. As for mice I would be looking at small, or maybe medium adults. A good rule of thumb in deciding the size to feed is around 15% of the bp's weight.

Even pinkies are too small for a bp that size. I would go with fuzzies.

I fed fuzzies at that size with no problems. I'd suggest rats over mice, but that is just my personal preference. It's easier to start them on rats then to try and switch over at a later time.

Of course, rats are best depending on size comparison (girth of your snake) but I will feed mine in that weight range a sub adult mouse.

Once my newborn BP's have thier first shed I offer them newborn rats. I try to never even put mice in the equation.
Your BP can definitely handle a rat of some size. for 100-125g I'd say try a newborn rat or young crawler.
