    Success!
I feel like I feel like I just won the lottery
I just switched 5 babies nd 1adult from live mice to frozen rats on my first try. I cant believe it. Even my stubborn albino likes frozen rats over prekilled mice it seems. Thanks for all the support everyone! This community has been wonderful to me!

Yah! All of them have only had live their entire life. Even the 3 year old girl I just picked up. They just chowed down though. I'm thrilled!

Can you post detail of how did you do that? I have tried on mine last week, but didn't work. Can you share how you did it with me?

    Thanks

Well, I do recommend feeding at night or at least in a very dark place. I moved my entire rack into my closet and fed them all in the dark. Except for my adult who is being quarantined. I also fed them when they were in their hides. My albino refused earlier in the week, so I put a different hide in her bin. It seemed to do the trick.
Also, warmed up the rat pups with a hair dryer until they were nice and warm, and let them sit in a bag that had mouse droppings in it.

I think think lady luck played a pretty big part in this too! There are tons of threads with tricks. That is why I thanked the entire community!

OH, don't try offering them food every day, I waited a few in between.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I will try this way. I don't think I need to do the mouse dropping part, because mine all feeding on live rats, and they are still babies. from 200 to 500 g

I have one more question, lucky lady. When you feed them, you place the F/T outside the hide or you use a tong to wave a bit outside?

    Thanks again.

Maybe I will ask my girl friend to feed them next time.
