    Question about enclosures
Is a 20 gallon long enclosure ok for a juvenile BP? (30x12x12) As for rubbermaids, are they better at holding heat?

Depends on the size of the snake,You must remember ball pythons like it nice, tight and secure in the enclosure. So if you use the 20long make sure to throw in some extra hides and decor to give it a more natural look and make it seem more safe to the ball python.

The rubbermaids/sterlite tubs are not only recommended because they hold heat better than tanks but also because the hold humidity far better, they actually make holding in humidity a breeze and you would not have to mist daily like with a screen top enclosure, i mist ounce a week and my humidity stays 56-62%. If i were you i would make the switch. Don't get me wrong though screen top tanks work good as well but it's more of a hassle to use those.
