All I do is add to proper size hides. One on the hot side and one on the cool side. I usually put the water dish in the center. I always use newspaper for bedding. It has always worked for me..:gj:

the whole reason for this is because i have a stressed bp and need to go from a glass tank to a tub

This is how i set up my ball python 28qt tub., i put three hides(one on the cool side and two on the warm) so she would not feel exposed and so there will be less open space. I put my water dish near the cool side because on the warm side it would of evaporated to quickly raising the humidity to high, i spray ounce a week and my humidity stays 56-62% in there. I added the plants and stick to make it look more natural and more tight and secure. I started her off in there around 18" she is now 20-24" and doing good :D!

How big of a bp is this? You need to buy a smaller tub depending on the size of the snake.

With an enclosure similar to mines at that size, she will do great!

For a snake that size, I would say 32 qt-41 qt tub.
