Photo of my rack my husband made for me
My husband made this rack for me after I showed him various photos of everyone else's racks. The tubs are from the Container Store. The entire unit measures 51" tall by 38" wide by 18" deep. It has the 11" by 12" size heat tape on the top 5 shelves and will have the 4" running along on the 2 bottom shelves. The heat and humidity is still adjusting, so don't mind the thermometer.

So I have a question. Is the gap at the top of the tubs between the plastic and the wood a large enough space for air or do I need air holes in the tubs? It is about a quarter of an inch more or less.

Very nice project. Whether or not you need to add holes will depend on what your humidity levels are without them...

Thanks everyone. It turned out much better than I thought it was going to also. My husband is a computer guy so I was quite pleased with the results. About the gap at the top, I just worried that they might not get enough air. The humidity is so far at 51% which I know is a little low. Still working on seeing how much water is needed in the bowls for the desired percentage. Still tweaking. I have one in shed so I am misting in there until I get it worked out.

You can place the water bowl on the hot side to help increase the humidity when your bp's are in blue.
