    Incubator/Hatchrite Question
I'm not expecting eggs anytime too soon, but I want to set up at least one of my incubators to make sure that it works right, and that I can maintain some good temp/humid levels.

I was wondering... If I set up my Hovabator and put a hatch box filled with Hatchrite inside, will my Hatchrite dry out? If the Hatchrite will be fine, then I can set up the incubator completely and be sure everything will work properly. (it's a pretty old Hovabator)

If not, then I guess I can just see how well the inc. works minus the hatch box and Hatchrite.

Thanks ahead of time for your help.

    Happy Breeding season!

    Happy Breeding season!

I have my incbator up and running to make sure the temp is correct.I am not opening the hatchrite until i have eggs. Its to expensive to possibly waste it due to drying out
