    Feeding question
So I have been researching beardies before I end up getting one ( not for a while yet) and I have a question... are crickets absolutly vital for young ones or is there some other buggie that is just as good?

... I am mostly looking for variety since I know obviously they are going to need crickets.

Dubia roaches are also a good insect for little beardies.

This is a good site for the nutrition content of various greens and some insects.

The chitin in the dubia roaches may be a bit hard for the babes to digest.
Even my grown beardies have trouble digesting them.
Great source of calcium and vit's though.
Crickets is #1 on my list.
Second would be flightless fruit flies.
    Best of luck!:)
