    Hissing
All right, my male pastel recently when being first picked up out of his tub will make a hiss noise and acts rly nervous. I don’t know why I assume being switched from a tank to a tub might of stressed him. He only makes the noise when you first pick him up

Back to the hissing after reading about RI I don’t think it is that I took him out for over an hour put him on my table top and watched him he never made a wheezing noise or hissing.

Any ideas on why he may be doing this he just recently locked up several times with my female ball there tubs are right next to each other would that cause stress or anything? Just trying to figure out why he has become shy or agitated when first brought out of the tub.

Maybe you surprised him more being in a tub. They are more secure I think, and it's hard to tell when your ball is really sleeping. I've surprised mine a couple times, and received a warning hiss.

I wouldn't worry about RI unless it happens more than once. Even in early stages, you should be able to put his nose up to your ear, and make out popping or wheezing sounds.

It's just been recently the last 3 days I would say right when you pick him out of the tub.

should his tub be near the female that he was breeding with?

Sounds to me like you just disturbed him being really comfy. I've caught my girl off guard a few times, and she'll hiss once or twice before she calms down and realizes it's me.

I just caught him in his tub it looked like he kept yawning repeatedly?

Sorry if I'm over reacting I just want to make sure it is nothing serious

I'm going to attempt to record it if he does it agian I have his tub out on a stand

Signs of an RI are excess mucus, gaping mouth, bubbling at the mouth, sounds coming from the throat, wheezing, whistling, etc...

So you say you saw your snake look like he was continuesly yawning? That could be him struggling to breath? Just keep a close eye on him.
