    Anybody else interested in MMA?
    Hey guys :P

Well, I just wanna say I LOVE MMA, I love the UFC and when im older I would seriously like to get into MMA. Either that or something to do with Animals, but right now if I had the chance I would JUMP into the UFC :)

Im just curious to see if anybody else likes Mixed Martial Arts or the UFC? what are your veiws on it ect.

And, if you are a UFC fan, are you excited to see UFC 129 - Georges St-Pierre VS Jake Shields!!!?

I've been watching MMA since UFC 1 and I rarely miss a PPV. I used to train at Team ROC in Fayetteville, NC but class scheduling and work didn't jive so I had to quit going. Personally I don't see Shields having a shot at GSP.

Thats amazing :O I would love to train at a camp like that

Gotta agree, Shields has no chance with GSP. But then again I am a MAJOR GSP fan so im extremely biased :P But we shall see :)

I plan to actually go to UFC 129 at the rogers center. I live like an hour away so if I can im going for sure :P if not ill just PPV it :D

The first thing every MMA fan learns is that anyone can win on any given night. That's why I love the sport so much. It's so unpredictable. If you like predictability watch boxing.
Shields has a chance against GSP, but do I think he'll win? No! Would I like him to win? Yes! Anything could happen.

    Very valid point

While I do agree that there is a ton of unpredictability, I still think GSP has a better chance based on his experience, striking and wrestling alone.

Thats not to say that Jake Shields CANT win, im just saying if I had to bet money on it (putting my biases aside) I would bet on GSP lol

But yeah UFC and MMA in general is just so random and unpredictable. Thats why I love it too. and i hope it never becomes boxing, where you can call the outcome 100% of the time lol

    Just my thoughts :)
