ASFs with dandruff?

Has anyone noticed any skin problems with their ASF? I have ~5 week old weaners that are seemingly going bald from flaky skin. There's another 2 week old litter that has huge flakes coming off their skin. The adults don't seem to have this problem.
I have been feeding Newman's Own adult dog food that has 21% protein and 12% fat. When I got the rats I ran to the store and grabbed the best food I could find. They get fruits, veggies, and various grains in homemade blocks I make. I used aspen bedding for their cage. I have 1.3 in a 106qt Sterilite tub, and the weaners are all in their own 106qt tubs.
I just looked again and the weaners look better than they did just yesterday, but still flaky.

Have you checked for mites? Sounds almost like mange. or maybe really bad ring worm.

No mites from what I can tell. I'm considering culling one to make sure, unless someone comes on and says what they have is normal. The adults aren't affected at all, which I don't think would be the case with mange or ringworm. I initially thought it was just the effect of their fur growing in.
I'll try to get some pics up when the light gets better.

Here are some pics of one. Most of the others aren't nearly this bald, but they were not too long ago. I could post pics of ones with more fur to compare.

This one's skin is also kinda wrinkly. You can kinda see it up around her neck.

My mice have that same issue. When they fight they attack for the legs, genital and spin areas. What I see is that they rip the hair and skin off of each other.

That's definately not from fighting. It might be from a poor diet though, that's what it looks like to me, after seeing pics. What are you feeding?

I currently feed Newman's Own dog food, which is 21% protein and 12% fat. I plan on switching to Nutro Max weight control. I also feed a homemade grain block made with rice, wheat, quinoa, various beans etc. They get dark green veggies every other day and fruits once every week or two, and baby cereal mixed with yogurt a few times a week.

Maybe the beans are the issue. Are you feeding them raw beans?

I actually just started feeding beans to them, not even a week ago. They're dried. They make up less than 10% of the grain blocks too. It was an accident at first, I thought I was putting dried soybeans into the mix but they were dried garbonzo beans, and I looked up if they were okay.
