DFW, Texas Here!
Hey everyone!
I'm very new here (still figuring out all the fun buttons) but I went to my first NARBC this weekend and was jaw dropping! Unfortunately I wasn't able to bring home any darlings but once I get my own place that will change drastically :) I mainly went to look at breeders and morphs and get a better understanding of what I really want and maybe which breeder to purchase from.
I'm curious on if there are any local DFW breeders or hobbyist breeders on here? I'd love to chat with a few locals about their snakes and how they manage a small scale breeding project (which I want to eventually get into in a few years). I'd also really like to purchase from a local breeder if possible when I have the room.
Anyways I'm still learning all I can for now! This forum looks fantastic and I'm glad to be here :gj:

I'm here in Denton, I'm just getting started myself. I've only got 6 ball pythons right now, but I'm planning on producing my first clutch or two next season. I picked up a breeder girl at the NARBC for my bumblebee this weekend. There were some serious show stoppers. I only brought 150 cash so I'd only get what I "needed" lol. I'd be happy to talk about snakes all day long just pm me. I know my girl is sick of hearing about it!

:D I'm from DFW as well, though I'm usually in Georgia away at college, but I go home every chance I get, nothing is quite like Texas, that's for sure! Welcome!
I've dabbled in the idea of breeding, and I know what I'd like to make if I did breed, but honestly the more I think about it, the more I realize I really am just a pet owner, and I can't picture myself being able to trade out my snakes for different/better morphs.. and so my collection would end up far too big! :O
For now I have three snakes, a ball python, a common boa, and a rainbow boa, all girls. If I were to breed anything it would be rainbow boas or special morphs of pied ball pythons! :D my favorites of course!
I'm also looking for more locals to chat about my reptiles with! It's fun! :P
I went to the NARBC and came home with my rainbow girl as well as a few other husbandry items! It was my first time going to a big show!

Welcome aboard! :handshake
I grew up in D/FW and still have a lot of family there, so we go back at least once a year and sometimes twice. I wasn't able to get back for the NARBC show this year, but will try to again sometime! Great show!!
