    My boy diesel
We rescued him about a week ago and even though he needs ALOT of work I already love him :) he was underfed/dehydrated and now he's starting to beef back up I just had him neutered on Wednesday so hopefully he won't be too territorial once he realizes he's shooting blanks ;).

P.s. Since he's been dehydrated for so long he drinks soo fast and so much he throws it back up, any ideas On how to stop that? When we took him to the vet they said besides being underfed, he seemed healthy no parasites or heartworms etc... Just don't wanna let him drink soo darn much so that he pukes!!!

Deisel is a cutie. He looks really comfy on the sofa. I used to have a Chihuahua that did the same thing with water. I got him as a puppy so I know he never had any dehydration problems. It's just kinda gross watching and hearing them hack stuff up :weirdface Glad you gave him a home.

Give Him a little at a time, wait for him to finish, give it a min or to and give him more. This way he will be able to keep it down and he will eventually come around once he realizes the waters not going anywhere :D

i second the little bit at a time plan. use a small bowl and put, say a cup of water in it. let him drink that. wait 2-3 minutes and do it again.

the drinking issue will most likely take some time. good luck.

    Good looking boy!!
Yes, the water thing is going to be an issue. Little at a time, put about a half inch in a water bowl and let him drink it. Then make sure he watches you put more water in so that he understands that it is an endless supply.

They will eat the ice just as fast plus I get nervous about mine chewing on the ice.
