    Soaking?
Anyone else notice your females start to soak when they get closer to ovulation? My spider female has been hugging the bowl like crazy and is always soaking (normal she dose not).

Hi, this happens every year for me. It is one of the signs I use for approaching ovulation. My girls will quit eating and start soaking in their bowls for weeks. About a week or 2 before ovulation they will stop soaking. The majority of my females do this maybe 1 or 2 do not. :gj:

Yea I'm just confused right now. She went off feed and is now back on feed like a pig at that (which is nothing new). She has been Glowing on 2 different occasions also. She dose have like 6-8 good sized follices. And just locked last week again so I know shes close but not that close.

Ok yea she is building for sure. Tonight after her 2 small rats last night she is way bigger than normal and looks pretty uncomfortable. Looks to high to be a Ovulation though.

Yea I know. Just have a couple of pigs that I think may eat right up till that deadline. She is one of them. Just was odd she didn't want anything for like 3 weeks then start slamming rats again 2 weeks ago. Out of my 6 females this year she seems to the farthest along in the process.
