    Chlorhexadine Glucanate VS Chlorhexadine Diacetate
Im currently using chlorhexadine glucanate 2% for all of my herp related general cleansing needs, i.e. cleaning tubs, hides, water bowls. I like it because there is no need to rinse. Just spray, give it 10 minutes to work, wipe and go. I rinse water bowls just to be safe. The down side is that chlorexadine glucanate is not a viruscide. And the diacetate is. Just wanting to know if the cleaning procedure is the same with the chlohexadine diacetate , also known as nolvasan. Is it also a wipe and go product or is there a need to rinse? Also any other good disinfectants recomended? Thanks

I use dawn dish soap or 10% bleach water and have not had any problems.
