    URI question.
Alright, well I've just been diagnosed with an URI today and the beginning stages of bronchitis... I've got antibiotics working in me now but I've been coughing and wheezing for the past few days and I'm just wondering if it's possible I could pass/or have passed either of these on to Tahssa my 6 month old ball python? Or if he could pass one to me in the future?

I ask this because I'm worried for his and my own health. And apparently I'm sort of sensitive to these illnesses due to my past with bronchitis. (born with it, and did breathing treatments as a toddler) So my lungs have taken quite the beating for only being used for 16 years...

But yes, the last thing I want is for him to get sick and it be my fault! :( Any info on how contagious these are for the both of us?

Have no fear. Snake RI is snake specific, and your URI is people specific. You can't get it from him, and he can't get it from you. If your running a fever though, I'm sure he would enjoy the extra warmth. :P
