    RI in ball pythons
I have two ball pythons that I get from a friend who couldn't care for them (their skin was coming off in chunks and they were dehydrated). When I got them I noticed some wheezing and took them to the vet. They also have some severe weight loss and one of them still refuses to eat. We have been in constant contact with my vetrinarian and they get shots every three days. One of them finally ate but can only choke down fuzzy and hoppers. She is 4 ft and normally ate rats. I give them bath soaks every two days and the heat is around 80 on the warm side and i touch them and they feel freezing (they keep knocking my thermometer and hydrometer off...those stinkers) They were wheezing less until I fed the big one. They both started wheezing and forcing snot out of their open mouths. I gave them a bath and they started wheezing deeper! I am running out of options. I can barely get the needles in anymore because they are so thin and have issues eating. I don't know what to do anymore! What can I do to help them? Am I doing something wrong? How long does it take fro them to get better?

PS they seem to hate the heat, they go to the middle of the tank even though a hide is at the hot end.

I had a heating pad for them but the vet told me to turn it off because the scales on their stomach were starting to crack...
