Can you cut the flexwatt down anywhere beside the black correct?
well the only other place to cut it is the clear part, so yes

Yes you can, as long as you dont cut through the cross wires. Zigzag ones are a pain
what is the best tape to use for it
everyone says foil tape, i use duct tape lol
