    Best non-tipping bowl?
I've been using the same cheap wal-mart cereal bowls for the last few years without any problems. I acquired a new 2000 gram normal for free with cage and all but no water bowl, so I put an extra I had in there. For the last 3 days (since I got him) he has tipped it over and emptied it. What do you guys and gals use to stop this?

something with a low center of gravity, heavy, and they can't physically get under it are ideal. I use dog water bowls

Ceramic dog water bowls. Both walmart and petsmart carry them:gj:

I have some heavy ceramic dish that have never been tipped over, but I now prefer to use those http://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/pro...aspx?SKU=87782 (lighter, don't break if you drop them, go in the dish washer) with adults.

I use Van Ness heavy plastic crock dishes with all of my guys and they don't tip over easily. Wal-mart sells them.

I use the stainless steel dog dishes, the ones the flair out at the bottom. Never had one tip over, easy to clean but if I have to much bedding in the tub sometimes they push stuff around and they get full of bedding.

I use heavy ceramic but will be picking some up like Deborah shows, that's the style needed to keep a big female from tipping it over.

    Thanks for the tip :gj:

Like that bowl, does it have a non skid bottom?

I use the plastic dog dishes from my local dollar store. I love them. The balls dont tip them over and they can hide underneath them so they serve two purposes. Plus they are cheap and I can't break them. I tend to drop everything so I look for the unbreakable.
