so I got my first ball python a few years ago when I lived in NY. I originally bought it because I was actually afraid of snakes and figured that would cure it. had it for a few months then gave it to a friend because I thought I wasn't interacting with it and it would get mean and try to eat me lol
a few months ago someone was giving away a king snake at school (I'm a vet tech student) and I bought it home even tho I think it DOES wanna eat me. In November I went to the reptile expo out here in Denver and got a het albino male proven breeder from top line constrictors. after having the ball a few weeks I got hooked, more with the colors than anything else. In December i got 2 more (bumblebee and a butter, tho because of the weather they haven't shipped yet) and this past Saturday at the Denver expo a pair of piebalds. after splurging on these 2 I think I'm done shopping for a while :D
unless I get another tax return magically the day before an expo lol
