    Tub size....
Will a (5 month old) 125-150 gram bp be okay in a 15qt tub with two hides. The smallest uth I could find was too big for a 6qt tub so I went with the 15qt.

    Your thoughts on this please.

    Thank you.

I have two that are less than 200g in 15q tubs, they are happy campers with their hides and water bowls.

    He will do great!

I set up may qt tub but I think the uth I selected is too small. I am using a 15qt tub with a small zoomed uth for use up to 10 gallons. It just doesnt seem to be getting my temps high enough.

What size uth do you all use on a 15qt tub. How much of the bottom of the tub should be covered by the uth.

    Any help would be great

I'm using two right now and I had to drill more holes to get the temp down lol. I have a small UTH in the back waster in the front. 4 holes in the front 4 one sides and 4 on back. What are your current temps of the room that its is???

My room is at 75 degrees. I bought a larger uth - I will see if that does it. I realized that the first uth was for like a 5 gallon tank , that was my mistake.

This has been so frustrating - been trying to set up a qt tub using a zoomed uth hooked to a helix but can't seem to get it warm enough without setting the helix at 100 degrees - is this normal.

My room is at 75 degrees. The tub is a small 15qt.

Any suggestions as to why I am having such a hard time. Heating this tub.

I adhered the uth right to the tub in hopes of getting more contact/heat to the tub. I'm using a temp gun and. My temps are 79 hot side and 71 cold side which I know isn't acceptable.

I bring her home today and need help asap. Thanks
