    Tstat with multiple tanks
so I searched around before posting, my question isnt really 'what should I get', its more of a how do you guys have your tanks set up. I know most people have racks, and I've looked into going that route myself (display cages, not tub/breeder type racks). I know tstats regulate temps, shut down power when its at the temp you want and stuff, but I was trying to figure out if all these products only came with 1 probe. I was looking at the Johnson Controls Thermostat but I have a few tanks in the room, which is all I have in that bedroom so figured a space heater would be easier. I have UTH on all my tanks (exo's I think), so I'd have to get a separate probe for each tank... do any of these have an option or come with more than 1 probe, and if not what would be the best way to regulate the heat in multiple tanks.

The more expensive herpstats and ecozones do the rest are just singles. A few meaning more than 2? like 3 or 4? If so a herpstat pro is cheaper than it seems it has 4 probes.

As long as the UTH's are the same size and wattage, you can run them on one thermostat with one probe. The thermostat will control the output of all of the UTHs at the same time. However, each thermostat has a maximum wattage capacity, so make sure you do not exceed the capacity. BTW, I prefer proportional thermostats to the on / off type.

Just wasn't sure that say like if someone had 10 tanks in a room, if they also ran 10 - $100+ tstats or ya just put one down and figured all the others would be the same temp as the one the probe was on. I know they can actually control a few UTH's or whatever else you have emitting heat, i just didnt know if the same tstat was actually monitoring all those heaters as well.
