I have an albino kingsnake that is currently housed on crown royal pelleted newspaper because i discovered that she likes to burrow under her water bowl and such and was curious as to weather it should be kept deep or shallow when i switch her onto the proper bedding next month if you have any suggestions that would be great her healt seems to be great on this stuff and its cheap so when i'm in a pinch i use it,... thanks again for your time
