Werid Male???

My male bumble bee will olny hook up with ONE of my normal girls. This is his second year breeding and he would only hook up with that same female. I have tried smearing plugs from another male on diffrent females, put him in with other females, put females in with him, put a fresh shed from another male, but he will only breed with that one female. Other females will breed with the other males so I know they are willing to breed. What should I try next?????:rolleye2:

Have you tried putting a second female in with your bee and the receptive female? I've had luck doing that. It may entice the non-receptive female to accept the bee if there is another female who is receptive to him. Good luck and patience is the key.
