She's got a great feeding response. I'm so glad she's not a picky eater. :D

(the video's not working, I'll try and figure out what's up haha)

I thought the same thing lol :P I thought she was going to get you that first time! My reptiles sometimes get confused if I get my hand too close to their prey. I think it is because my hand is warmer than the dead mouse. I always feed with long needle holders and they seem to miss less often now. Very pretty spidey BTW.

Thank you! And yes. :P I haven't gotten feeding tongs yet so I use a glove. Also I hope the latex-y smell helps in differentiating between my real hand and food. :D

She actually completely skimmed the side of the mouse, which surprised me because she usually gets it the first time so my hand pulled back on instinct. :P You never really know how fast snakes are until you see it for yourself! And thank you. :]

Cute! She's super pretty! And hemostats are nice IMO more because you can make the mouse more visible to them than a dangling sky-mouse, lol. She's got good aim for a spider- most of the vids on youtube they are wobbling and crazy, ha ha! Most of my snakes miss on their first few strikes and none are spiders. Even with live prey, they often smack into their tub walls or come flying out at ME O_O
