Feeding While In Shed

I have noticed alot of peoples snakes wont eat while there in shed or dont offer? I have never took that approach and both my females have always continued there normal routine of eating every friday. Is that normal?

Some will eat in shed others won't so either could be considered normal :)

Completely normal. Some snakes will eat in shed and some won't, it really just depends on the snake.

I find that the babies will often eat while in shed but as they grow most stop.

My my girl is about 4ft 6inch and I think she has missed one meal haha her first real winter she went on strike but after that winter she has been fine.

Both my normals are great eaters, they would eat everyday if I offered it to them, so yes they eat in shed. My mojaves are much much more picky and the male refused this last shed and the female I think will be the same way ( she is the last of the 4 we have here to go into shed this round).

It really depends on the owner and the snake as to what is the normal thing to do around shed.

It's completely normal for them to eat in shed. My boy is an absolute PIG so he'll eat any chance he gets, whether in shed or not.

i've gotten a refusal during a shed so i just wait until my girl is done then feed her the day after she sheds out...or later that day if she looks really hungry.
