    Qt setup
Hi, I recently put together a qt tub. My question is I have the tub with a uth (zoomed) for heat and regulated with a helix.

The uth instructions said it was for glass tanks only - have any of you actually used one on the bottom of a sterlite tub?? I didn't remove the sticky tape - I just taped it to the tub with aluminum tape.

I just wanted to make sure this was okay.

    Thanks.

Yeah it's okay, just as long as the temperature's regulated. You have a Helix so you're fine.

Thank you Chessfighter - I appreciate the help. It certainly helps when someone takes the time to answer.

caging forum doesnt get that much traffic, there are more than a few threads on this subject with the same answers, so next time try searching and you will find it. but yes you can use it as long as it is regulated as said above. i actually made a ghetto-rack in a hurry using two UTH's for two juvies and they were like that for months with no problems
