    What bedding do you use??
I'm wondering what bedding everyone uses? Right now I use newspaper and clean the tubs once a week with dawn dish soap. I have heard a lot of people using cypress mulch, spot cleaning daily, and only changing once a month. That seems a lot easier.

    What is everyones opinions??

I used cypress mulch for all my snakes except for the females being paired during breeding season (they are on newspaper) :gj:

Yup, I use cypress mulch for anything that's in a display cage (not in tubs) because it helps me with the humidity (and I need all the help I can get!). Spot clean the second I find something, and clean it all out about once a month.

However, for newer or younger snakes I keep them on paper towels so that
    1. I can watch for mites
    2. I can easily see their stool and urine to make sure everything is normal
    3. I eliminate the possibility of them ingesting substrate, so that I can avoid them going off feed as much as possible.

Why are your females on newspaper? Do they get stuff sucked in?

    Sarin
Paper Towels for the hatchlings and Unprinted Newspaper for the adults. :) If I wanted to do a display tank, I'd use Aspen.

In tubs I use paper towel or unprinted newspaper because I usually won't need the extra humidity provided by the cypress.
