Very solid rack and well price heavy duty rack.
I was looking around into possibly making one or buying one. I decided to check out home depot and looking into a heavy duty rack. They have one that is very nice black finish and the shelf's bottom are very grippe.

Very nice rack at home depot

I wanted something that was very durable and I think I found it.

Also with a metal rack like this it can be very easily cut down to size if you need it shorter they also sold the shelf's if you needed more.

When i bought my house the previous owner left a bunch of those in the garage, given they look like their 25+ years old, but they are very flimsy. If your has better angle iron than mine it might be alright but the ones I got I had to screw to the wall to keep from tipping over if anything with some weight was put on them.

If you already bought it and using it, great it working out for you, like I said mine are really old, but exact same style.

Yah I saw other ones that didn't look as firm. This along weighs alil over 100 pounds. I planned on putting my first ball python on the bottom rack with her 50 gallon that she has been in for some time to really give the base the added weight if thats the case. Once I buy it and get everything set up I will post a pic.

yea mine weigh no where near 100 pounds so that no doubt beefier. I also see its 70 some bucks, you know melamine is only 35 bucks a sheet and you could have a topless tub rack. just something to think about.

yah I was looking into that rout aswell. But if you see the look in person the finish is very well and the fact it is heavy and seemed very sturdy really won me over. It fits a 50 gallon take with room to spare which was nice so I can have a center piece then work on my tubs.
