Animal Plastics and Ambient Air Temps
Upgrading from Exo tanks to T-25's from Animal Plastics. For people that own AP's, what's the best way to control ambient air temps? The tanks will be each 6 feet long, 2 1/2 feet wide, and 1 1/2 feet tall. We are housing one Blood Python and one Colombian Boa.

I guess I'll go with Flexiwatt for UTH heating coupled to a Herpstat, but how does one control ambient? Right now we actually use a oil filled heater in the den to keep the ambient temps up (whew, it's warm in there!) but of course want to do away with that "system". Far too inefficient.

So what system does everybody use for heating a AP tank setup?

    Thanks in advance!

You are right. RHPs are the best way to go to control the ambient air temps. I use them in all of my cages.
