Het Reds... need more hype or lack luster?
As Ive said before elsewhere- im looking around for a new boy to be a future mate for my pastel girl. I was thinking of one of four - fire, cinny, black pastel or het red. i can find many cinnys, fires and some black pastels.. but het reds seem to be very VERY hard to come by.
Is there a reason you dont see more het reds? and when you do find them, they dont sell for as much as i thought youd see them. A pastel het red looks very close to a pewter so why arent het reds more in demand? I just cant seem to find any for sale, lol.

Which is why a lot of people do not want them.
Which is another reason why there aren't a ton of them around. People aren't working with them as much as the rest of your list..
thanks for your replies =]
ive seen some stellar het reds/reds - ones that could challenge some cinnamons - but they are few and far between. i agree that the best thing to work with is something you can also move. A snake that may be hard to tell what it is wouldnt be the best choice. I have been leaning towards a fire - or a cinny with very heavy blushing. Ive never been a huge fan of fires but have seen some recently that have changed my mind.

IMO really good Het reds are awesome especially when they are also a pastel.
Sadly they are correct, the market for selling them is really tough which led me to trade this stellar boy for a fire boy I'm breeding this season...

I'd go fire. It's more valuable in my opinion. If you choose to get more females a fire is a great male. Here's my boy. He's gonna breed to a bee next season and hopefully make some fire bees! (:
