Does anyone else have an urge to go wingsuit flying?
I do. It just seems like it would be so thrilling, so fun, yet so dangerous. I'm risking death just driving more than I would if I went wingsuit flying. So why not?

Wingsuit flying is basically putting on a suit that looks like a flying squirril. Then you jump out of a plane, or a cliff, and literally fly for a minute or more and then deploy a parachute. The suit has flaps in between the arms and legs, and they catch air. Look it up on youtube, theres tons of videos.

    Heck no!

My cousin tries to talk me into it all the time, but I tell her she's crazy! She is a camera person (?) for people that sky dive. She got her 4,000th jump badge, or whatever the heck they get, last year. I think she's nuts, she almost died last month, the only reason she lived was because her jumping partner hadn't pulled his shoot yet and was able to get to her in time. She was using a relatively new shoot and it broke. BUT, for one near death experience out of 4,000+, that's pretty good odds.

I'd post pictures of her wind suit, but you can see her face, and I'm not sure she would appreciate it :)

Here is a picture she took of the Women's Texas State Record, it's my favorite of her pictures

Ah here's one, my cousin's windsuit is really sweet, but all the pictures with her are on the ground with her face since she's the camera gal in the sky.

To the OP I think you are nuts, but if you live anywhere near TX or CO I can hook you up, lol.

Edit: Just looked, uh oh....you are from TX!!!!

Yall are crazy, lol.. I don't like being in a plane much at all, let alone the idea of voluntarily jumping out of one! Now I would bungee jump though :D

You're crazy too! I would rather jump out of a plane than bungee jump! All I can think about is getting strangled, the bungee breaking, or someone forgetting to tie the bungee to the bridge/cliff/etc.
