    wont go in the hide
i recently bought a ball python and it dosnt seem to want to go in its hide, it tends to rest on the other side of the hot spot part of the tank, should i move the hide to the other side?

X2 I have 2 hides one on each side. Chk temps. Also they like tight fitting hides. Ie they want to be practically bursting out of it.

I am having problems with one of my guys doing this as well, he likes to strike too and is in the most difficult spot to get him from haha.

Alot of people suggest that maybe his hides are too big and dont provide the security he needs.
If you can post some pictures it might help a bit.

If your snake is favoring a hide, I would try to get another hide identical to it or get two entirely new identical hides.

It could be that the favorite one is smaller or more secure but she wants the heat of the warm side.

once again its not the fact that its favoring a hide at all, its just will go in neither spending almost all of her time in the corner

If this is a new ball and new home, you must always give them time to adjust. I'm pretty sure your BP will be fine, patience.
