    Blue blue blue!
I'm slowly replacing most of my stock with blues, Siamese, agouti, fawn, and champagne.

Looks like the blues are winning!

I don't know about your area but I sell blues continually in my area, have you checked craigslist?
All of my rats carry blue so I tend to get blues in almost every litter.

If you ever going to be in Grand Rapids area let me know. I'm producing a good number of Blue dumbos, 2 different shades. I just produced my first blue dumbo rex and should have those available in the next couple of months.

I'm working towards silver dumbo rex's and dove dumbos right now and should be producing them in quantity by this summer.

My blues are from 2 females I purchased from a guy at our Wheaton exotic animal expo.

My others are from my starter stock that I picked up from a guy in Indiana. I just got lucky there. I bought a large tub of rats. There were 2 Siamese females and only one or 2 each of the other colors I have. All the rest were traditional albino or black and white.

By selective breeding I've been producing different shades of certain colors. Like my orange agoutis, grey, champagne etc..

You just need one of whatever color you want and you will make more. With Siamese, I have only been able to reproduce them by either Siamese x Siamese or agouti x black & white.

It's been very hard to pinpoint that gene but it's a lot of fun to breed for new colors.

    Isn't recessive genes fun

    Red eyed agouti is fawn(orange)
    Red eyed black is beige
    Red eyed blues are silvers

Siamese is recessive so Siamese X Siamese is all Siamese
If you make Siamese from black and white rats then they carry Siamese, kewl stuff.

Fawn rats are kewl, working on making some more again myself...
