    BP making air sound
I know this sounds weird, but one of my three BP's, and I can't tell who it is yet, is making a sound that is similar to either: 1) somone letting a quick blast of air out of a tire (but not as loud), or 2) when you blow a quick blast of air out of your nose when your mouth is closed.

What is this? I think it's our newest BP, which apparently, after reading some very informative posts here (thank you to all), looks like he's going to be shedding soon since his belly has turned pink and his back has a reddish tinge to it that he didnt' have when we got him. It would make sense since he just ate last week.

I'm still super curious about the air-type noise. Any ideas?

There are a number of things it could be really. The snake could be close to shed, and loose skin in and around the nostrils are making noise. They could be just puffing or hissing, one of mine used to randomly do it. It could be the beginnings of an Respiratory infection.

I would say, just make sure your husbandry is correct, all the temps are good, and just keep on eye on things if it gets more frequent.
