Guess who joined the "tagged club" today...
My boyfriend!! My girl Loki got him just a few minutes ago when I was about to put her in her feeding tub. I always thought me, the owner, would be first! :rolleyes:

Like a champ. :D He was more surprised than anything else, Loki's usually so tame and friendly so I think she was just riled up from the mouse smell. He even put her back in her tank when she was done, no fear at all. :P

A friend of mine just got a python, but not a ball...a young Carpet. She's extremely nippy and has tagged him many times in the past few weeks, but he's handled it very well. I've had a BP for over three years and have only been tagged twice due to prey misidentification. Reptiles...gotta love the unpredictability!

Upon further inspection it seems she only gave him a love tap. Only little red dots show where her teeth went in, and I don't think they'd even show up on camera.
She grabbed him and then realized it was ME holding her so she coiled back on herself and tried for my hand, but i already had her in the tub by then. And then she was all peaches and daisies, lol.
The boyfriend's remark was: "Just look at how BIG her mouth is. It reached almost a third over my hand!" :D

She went into a funk for about 3 hours after we put her back in her tank though. She'd stick her head upside-down out of her hide, yawn a lot and generally just act weird. She seems over it now but for a while there I was worried something might be wrong. :( I think she just got really stressed out so we're letting her be for a couple days to relax.
