    Aspen bedding differences
Today i went to petsmart to get some substrate and i saw aspen bedding and remembered that alot of people used it, but the thing is that they were out of zoo med aspen bedding so i grabbed living world instead and i noticed that it said for small animals like rodents :/ so is there any difference? and could i use this type of aspen?

I don't think there is any difference. I got a bag of "reptile" aspen bedding and a bag of "rodent" aspen and I can't tell any difference between the two.

Just make sure it does not have any unnatural additives most hamster bedding is pine i believe, but i am not 100% sure i would just read the side to find out exactly whats in it.

As long as it is aspen, your good. The only difference between aspen bedding is the size of the shredding. Aspen is a hardwood, and contains no toxic oils that pine has. Thats why its safe for all animals.

It should be fine. The aspen I get also says it is for small animals and I have not had one issue with it.
